What We Do
The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services. It employs roughly 418,000 associates worldwide (as of December 31, 2024). The company generated sales of 90.3 billion euros in 2024. Its operations are divided into four business sectors: Mobility, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. With its business activities, the company aims to use technology to help shape universal trends such as automation, electrification, digitalization, connectivity, and an orientation to sustainability. In this context, Bosch’s broad diversification across regions and industries strengthens its innovativeness and robustness. Bosch uses its proven expertise in sensor technology, software, and services to offer customers cross-domain solutions from a single source. It also applies its expertise in connectivity and artificial intelligence in order to develop and manufacture user-friendly, sustainable products. With technology that is “Invented for life,” Bosch wants to help improve quality of life and conserve natural resources.

Shaping the future
We are living in an age of unprecedented change: politically, socially, and economically. What do these changes and challenges mean for people’s lives and for Bosch? How will we move, work, and live in the future? As a global and leading technology company, Bosch sees change as an opportunity, and its corporate strategy provides answers to these questions.
Be #LikeABosch — our mission statement

All our actions are defined by one single purpose: “Invented for life”. It gives meaning to our existence and inspires us to create solutions that spark enthusiasm, improve quality of life, and help conserve natural resources. Our mission statement “Be #LikeABosch” describes our commitment, our strategy, and our way, showing how we act in pursuing our purpose. We act based on our core values, which have shaped our corporate culture for decades.
Our values — what we build on

Diversity, equity, inclusion
We appreciate and encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion for the enrichment they bring, and see this as essential for our success.

Robert Bosch Stiftung
The foundation continues the legacy of Robert Bosch by supporting health, education and global issues. In his will, the entrepreneur laid down a twofold mission: to secure the future of his company and to continue his social commitment. Since its inception 60 years ago, the foundation has held around 94 percent of the company's shares and is funded by dividends. However, the foundation is independent and non-partisan.
The Robert Bosch Stiftung is committed to a fair and sustainable future. To this end, it provides funding at both international and local levels, develops innovative projects, and maintains its own (research) institutions. The results of its funding activities are regularly presented to experts and the interested public. Since 1964, the foundation has invested some 2.5 billion euros in its charitable work.

We take responsibility
For us, sustainability means securing the company’s long-term success while at the same time protecting the natural resources on which present and future generations depend. Ecology is thus a driver of innovation. At the same time, we demonstrate a particularly high level of corporate social responsibility — both within the company and beyond.
Our history
In 1886, Robert Bosch founded the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” in Stuttgart. This was the birth of today‘s globally operating company. Right from the start, it was characterized by innovative strength and social commitment.

Leadership
As a leading technology company, our aim is to help shape tomorrow’s world with technology that is “Invented for life.”
Research
Research for research’s sake? That’s not how we work. We believe that research should always result in a tangible innovation. Something that changes people’s lives for the better. That’s why our innovations tend to pop up at all sorts of different times in people’s day-to-day lives.
